Saptagiri Grameena Bank is a 100% Government Bank owned by Government of India, State Government of Andhra Pradesh and Indian Bank with a share capital ratio of 50 :15 : 35
With headquarters at Chittoor, our Bank has a network of 170 Branches in two districts Chittoor and Krishna. The list of branches and telephone numbers are available in the website. The Bank is standing as the second largest RRB in the state in terms of total business. The Bank’s total business touched a level of Rs 6480 crore as of end-March 2015 .
The Bank’s Capital Adequacy Ratio continued to reflect its capital strength. The CRAR was 11.78 % at end- March, 2015. With zero net NPA, the bank declared a net profit of Rs 64.71 crores after tax.
All our Branches are functioning in Core Banking Solutions (CBS) environment. Inter Bank remittance facility through NEFT / RTGS has been enabled, through which our Bank’s customers can transfer money to the account of any other Bank.
We have excellent and customer friendly deposit products. Our Bank offers 0.50% to 0.75% higher interest compared to other Banks. With regard to advances, we placed a special focus on Agricultural, MSME, SHG , Home Loans, Trade Finance and other retail lending. In order to augment agriculture advances, the Bank conducted Special Campaigns viz. Kharif and Rabi campaigns for crop loans. Further, it formulated various Areaspecific Schemes tailor made to the local requirements of the farming community. Appropriate concessions in the rates of interest, charges, etc. were allowed under these schemes to support the farmers.
The Bank is pioneer in extending Banking services in the villages which do not have any branch at all. Apart from large number of villages serviced by our Bank’s full-fledged branches, we are extending banking services through Business Correspondents. Micro ATMs and Smart Cards are made available to the people in villages.
The bank took the lead in the implementation of Prime Ministers Jandhan Yojana( PMJDY ) scheme in the state, opened very large number of accounts and issued Rupay cards to PMJDY customers.
The Bank is focusing towards providing excellent customer service through all delivery channels and has been making continuous efforts for enhancing the level of customer satisfaction. The varied interests and expectations of customers are taken care of by improving upon various processes and procedures by effectively using technology.
In order to spread awareness among the rural masses on various financial and banking services and to speed up the process of financial inclusion, our Bank has also established Financial Literacy Centers (FLC) in two districts. These centers are actively engaged in promoting financial literacy.
The Bank received several awards for its noteworthy performance across various business, social and financial parameters.
